OFFSHORE ACCESS PLATFORM ENGINEERING

As part of an offshore facility modification project, our team developed a safe and practical access solution for a maintenance area with limited accessibility. The project started with the evaluation of laser scanning data to accurately capture existing site conditions and establish a reliable basis for the engineering design.

Based on the client’s operational requirements, a new access platform and ladder system was designed using AVEVA E3D. The proposed structure was integrated with the existing facility arrangement and optimized to provide safe access for inspection and maintenance activities. The 3D design environment enabled detailed verification of the installation before fabrication.

A structural strength assessment was performed to validate the integrity of the proposed modification under operational loading conditions. Following the successful completion of the analysis, detailed fabrication drawings, construction details, and material take-off (MTO) documentation were prepared. The complete engineering package was delivered to support fabrication and installation activities.
